Two photos are of a woman carrying a baby. The house that she is standing in front of looks like Spiegel family home in Dallas. The inscription on the back reads: “Helen M Dobbs and son James M. Dobbs Dallas Texas”. The year would be 1901.

There is a very dark photo of a smiling boy standing in front of a picket fence. On the back is written “James M. Dobbs, Staten Island, N.Y.” This is my grandfather and judging by the boy’s age it makes the year to be 1910.

The photo of the woman seated appears to my great-grandmother. It looks to be taken with the same camera as were the Mexico City photos. This would also be around 1910. I am wondering who the cameraman was. My guess is my great-grandfather.
